Install the Securimail Root Certificate

  1. Click on the image below to download the certificate (1.4Kb)
    Step 1

  2. Next, click on 'Open' when it asks if you want to save the file.

  3. Then click the 'Install Certificate' button to begin the installation wizard.

  4. Click 'Next' to begin the wizard.
    Step 4

  5. Click 'Next' to automatically store the certificate.
    Step 5

  6. Click 'Finish' to end the wizard.
    Step 6

  7. There will be a security warning. Click 'Yes' to finally install the certificate.

  8. Click 'Ok' to finish.
    Step 8

Back to main menu

If you want to check that the certificate was properly installed:

  1. Go to the 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'.

  2. Click on the 'Content' tab and click the 'Certificates' button.
    Step 10

  3. You'll see that there's no personal certificates yet.
    Step 11

  4. Click on the 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities' tab and scroll down to the 'Securimail CA' entry.
    Step 12

  5. Double-click on the 'Securimail CA' entry.
    Step 13

  6. That's it! Click 'Ok', then 'Close' and 'Ok' again to get back to Internet Explorer
